Challenges for the future: emerging micropollutants in urban water cycle Ternes, T. (2009)
Organic micropollutants or so called “emerging contaminants” are now more frequently being detected in wastewater and the environment in concentrations up to several ?g/L, although they might have been present already for decades. The presentation shows which emerging pollutants need to be considered as well as economically and ecologically appropriate measures for dealing with them.
