HERING has over 30 years of experience in the field of construction, operating sanitation facilities and prefabricated concrete structures. HERING has established a production workshop for high quality sanitation facilities with the aim to provide the South African community with these superior facilities. With this knowledge HERING has developed prefabricated sanitation solutions which offer maximum creativity, functionality and longevity. The long term plan is to create a sustainable business in South Africa which will create jobs and transfer different skills.

Homeless International supports partner organisations in Africa and Asia who are working with poor slum communities to reduce poverty and to improve living conditions. We believe that poor communities have a right to safe and secure housing and adequate infrastructure such as clean water and toilet facilities. We believe that through working together to express their ideas and needs, poor communities can play a central role in the development of their own settlements. We are the only British charity devoted to the challenge of housing and basic services in slums. All of our work is done through direct long-term partnerships with local organisations in Africa and Asia and by supporting projects that are led by poor communities.
