Stronger Together! - How women become leaders in water & climate 20.05.2024 • 18:30 - 20:00 (UTC +8)
Melia Bali Hotel (Nusa Dua)

We would warmly like to invite you to this informal networking event at the Melia Bali Hotel. This is a unique opportunity for inspirational women of all career stages to share their knowledge and experience and exchange stories on how to succeed in the water sector.

Despite all the barriers women face in finding jobs and developing their careers, the water sector is fortunate to have inspiring, brilliant female leaders who have overcome huge challenges. So, who better to inspire young women just starting their careers in the sector, then a group of these highly experienced international women leaders.

This is the only event at the World Water Forum for women to network, connect, learn and empower each other. The aim of the event is to create an inspiring and empowering space for water women joining the networking mingle to discuss how they, as individuals, can make a difference for women in water jobs. The event will start with a short and lively discussion involving women who are government ministers and the most senior officials. There will then be facilitated networking, so younger women will be able to meet and talk with a diverse range of experienced women from around the world.

This event is organised by Aquafed, the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance and women’s networks from all over the world, such as Community of Women in Water, Women in Water & Saniation Network, African Women Sanitation Professionals Network, African Network of Women Professionals in WASH, Women For Water Partnership, and Women in Water Diplomacy.
