EcoSan Toilets - Build and Test Design Validation Units with WRC and CNTA Programs To support prototype development and field testing of reinvented toilet concepts for the purpose of demonstrating scale and feasibility of standalone toilet designs


This grant will focus on the next round of prototype development and field testing support for RTT (Reinvent the Toilet) concepts. Currently, Yixing-EcoSan has built and continues to test initial EV prototypes based on the Caltech design.

We are proposing to test nine toilets in a wider range of conditions, including working with WRC in South Africa and the CNTA competition in China.
