Description:
The Cold Climate Sanitation webinar series aims to bring together professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts interested in advancing sanitation in cold climates.
First, a big thank you to Vincent Soulard and Frederic Lacaze (Veolia group), who presented their feasibility study on compact and modular solutions in cold climate context and Ukrainian standards during our last Webinar Session. Here you can find the session recording if you missed his presentation.
Our fifth webinar will shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by mountain huts in the Swiss Alps. These high-altitude lodges are often situated in extreme locations, where they must contend with harsh environmental conditions. This demanding context also offers valuable opportunities for learning and innovation in the field of sanitation. The webinar presentation will explore specific challenges and practical solutions through case study examples. It will be delivered by Lukas Ulrich, project manager and technical director at Vuna Ltd. Vuna is an engineering company based in Dübendorf, Switzerland, specialising in off grid and circular water management and sanitation solutions, including in remote and mountainous regions.
After the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.
