The core principle of Welthungerhilfe work is “help towards self-help”. With its large and diverse portfolio of activities in the fields of water, sanitation and hygiene, Welthungerhilfe has been implementing emergency-WASH interventions, as well as long-term development WASH-programmes in many developing countries around the world, for five decades.
