Association for Gender Awareness & Human Empowerment (AGAHE) is an independent, non-political and not for profit organization established in 2004 with a vision that societies need sustainable development for which there is a need to create enabling environment for every segment of society, to make them part of development and decision making process in a way with which future of coming generations is not compromised with timely decisions.

Awareness raising has been the strength of AGAHE which proved to be an effective tool to bring positive change in behaviours which ultimately leads towards sustainable development. AGAHE is mobilizing community to drink safe water, use sanitary latrines, adopt hygienic behaviours and keep the environment clean.

AGAHE is working with communities of Souther Punjab in Pakistan to improve sanitation through construction of latrines in schools & communities, rehabilitation of water supply schemes, awareness sessions with teachers, parents and students and leading the advocacy with District Government.
