Sistemas de saneamiento seco con separación de orina (Baño seco) (In Spanish) Dry Sanitation Systems with Urin Separation (Dry Bath) INTI (2015)

En Argentina, de un total de 12'171.675 hogares, sólo el 53% cuenta con red cloacal para el tratamiento de las aguas residuales. Esta situación es el resultado de problemas como la escazes de recursos económicos, la inexistencia de un sistema sanitario sostenible, las falencias educativas que enfaticen la importancia de la higiene y el saneamiento inadecuado en lugares públicos. El Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI) promueve el baño seco con separación de orina como un sistema de saneamiento sustentable apropiado para zonas donde no hay acceso a un sistema cloacal y/o donde existe escasez de agua.
