Technical validation and marketization of mobile septage treatment unit and pit life extender Technical validation and marketization of two onsite septage treatment products

WASH Institute has developed two Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM) related products namely “Mobile Septage Treatment Unit (The Annam)” and “Pit Life Extender (Septguard)” through yearlong internal research. These two products have shown promising initial results and performance. This project is concerned with technical validation, final product design and commercialization of both the products by the project team so that these become market-ready in order to cater the needs of cities/towns across the country and outside India for FSSM. The project team consists of WASHi, Duke University and a commercial partner to be determined.
