This is the workshop report of “Ecological sanitation for eco-model cities”, conducted in Yang Song Township, Beijing City. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the concept of ecological sanitation and alternative, decentralized wastewater treatment methods. One of the main objectives was to present the base line study and the elaborated recommendations for Yang Song township. Further to present existing practical implementation solutions and companies involved in the sector. Another important task was the exchange and discussion of knowledge, technical aspects as well sustainable resource planning. This report consists of three part. The first part is the introduction. The second part is the content, procedure, and time schedule of the workshop. And the last part is the recommendations of the workshop.
