Assessment of Options for Public Toilets for a Market Centre in Chora, Afghanistan Khawaja, N. (2010)
The Uruzgan Provincial Development Project is constructing, together with the Municipality of Kalacha Bazaar, a market centre in Chora town Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan. An element of the new market centre and bazaar upgrading initiative is public sanitation. Currently, the only public toilets in the bazaar are found within the hospital compound. To this end, an assessment was carried out to identify suitable systems for public toilets that can be constructed in the vicinity of the new market
centre.
